Originally from Montreal, Quebec, Ronen Pomeranc has lived overseas, is fluent in three languages and has been successfully running the program for over ten years. His rich and varied experience includes psychology, behaviour therapy, special education and youth work, as well as massage therapy and acupuncture. He has worked with both children & adults with a range of physical, behavioural, mental and emotional disabilities, in a variety of settings. His over 20 years of martial arts experience includes Kempo karate, Wing Chun kung fu, boxing and Jeet Kune Do (Bruce Lee’s martial art, father of modern mixed martial arts).
Ronen is passionate about inspiring and empowering others (in ways both big and small!) while engendering a culture of lifelong learning without ego. He prides himself on his ability to understand & quickly build rapport with others, and continually seeks to advance both his skills and knowledge. Ronen is an avid reader and enjoys hiking, cycling, photography, film and training in Jeet Kune Do during his spare time.
Parents/guardians are consistently delighted with Ronen’s warmth, energy and ability to engage students while running a ”tight ship” and maintaining a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
